Shrink the time needed to close the books from days or weeks to hours. Automate the workflow for intercompany transactions. Streamline your Microsoft Dynamics accounting processes including AP, AR, and payroll across all of your companies.

Cut Cost

Manage your Company’s Growth Cost-Effectively

Your company is growing and your accounting system can’t keep up. Whether considering a move from QuickBooks or looking to expand the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics GP, you need help to keep pace. Multi-Entity Management allows you to meet growing requirements without adding IT overhead costs and at a fraction of the cost of Tier 1 ERP.

Consolidated Financials at your Fingertips

Multi-Entity Management (MEM) enables real-time reporting across all of your entities without the need for spreadsheets or an external reporting system and the staff required to build reports. Because MEM gathers all Microsoft Dynamics financial information in a single database, it is far simpler and faster to create consolidated reports across all companies while still maintaining individual sets of financial statements. You are easily able to drill down to the transactions in the individual business unit using standard Dynamics GP reports. Even if you prefer to use third-party reporting BI tools, MEM makes this easier too because you only need to connect to a single data source.

“Improved cross-company reporting enabled upper management to be able to easily access and pull reports across all companies with a database and resulted in annual savings of tens of thousands of dollars.

Close Your Books Faster Across All Companies

Month-end close takes far less time and is accomplished with greater accuracy with Multi-Entity Management. By not having to log in and out of countless databases, your team is able to quickly prepare all of the reports required for period-end close. MEM also helps reduce the occurrence of miscoded transactions, accounts not balancing, and other time-wasting errors. You can easily produce government and tax reports including 1099s and W2s. And, you also benefit from the flexibility of being able to close by entity.

“Back when we had 55 entities, it used to take upwards of 15 minutes per entity to close during year-end. The process was a nightmare. Now last year it only took 30 minutes to close out 239 entities during year-end using Multi-Entity Management.”

Automate Intercompany Transaction Work-flow

Multi-Entity Management automates the work-flow for intercompany transactions. Due-to due-from transactions are created and posted on the GL of the destination entity and allocations are automatically completed. Available for all key Microsoft Dynamics GP modules, MEM facilitates the easy transfer of the following between entities–fixed assets, inventory, bank transactions, and more. Voided transactions automatically reverse the intercompany distributions between entities. Full audit trail capabilities are supported.

“Before MEM, our manual process for intercompany transactions was error-prone taking 4-8 hours per month to handle all of the reconciliations. We were able to automate entering journal entries and posting transactions to the GL. Plus, we were able to avoid logging in and out of 11 databases.”

Centralized or De-centralized Multi-Company Processing – or both

Setting up centralized accounting and finance processing in your organization can lead to huge productivity gains but in a typical multiple database environment it is virtually impossible to pull off. Multi-Entity Management’s single database give you the ability to centralize the processing of payments, receipts, payroll, invoicing, and purchase orders.

Rather than sending multiple checks to the same vendor, send one check on behalf of all entities instead. Process a single purchase order for multiple entities. Bill from a corporate head office and fulfill stock from a branch office. Apply a single receipt from one customer to all entities. Process payroll for the entire organization that is paid through a central cash account. Centralize all processes for all entities or keep some de-centralized. You choose.

“With Multi-Entity Management, we now enjoy centralized AR, AP, and POP processes, which are accessed from a single database by a centralized team. We can now create a single purchase requisition and distribute the GL coding amongst multiple facilities.

Meet your Corporate Growth Targets without Breaking the Bank

Growing your company is good. Facing the spiralling costs of maintaining your stretched accounting system is bad. Whether your firm is growing by acquisition or expansion, Multi-Entity Management makes adding a new company to your accounting set-up a breeze. So much so that your IT team does not even have to get involved. Backing up databases, upgrading systems, adding or updating master records across entities take a fraction of the time when everything is on one database, instead of 10, 100, or even 1000 databases. MEM makes all this and more possible and without the sticker shock that comes with buying and implementing a Tier 1 ERP system.

“We were able to grow from 55 entities to 239 while saving $126,000 per year by eliminating user inefficiencies and down-time obstacles.”
